Mardikian Enterprises, a real estate investment business (1983-2002); President and Director of Adiuvana-Invest, Inc., a real estate investment business (1989-present); Vice Chairman and Trustee of the William Saroyan Foundation (1992-present). Mr. Mardikian has served as Managing Director of the United Broadcasting Company, radio broadcasting (1983-2001) and Chairman and Director of SIFE Trust Fund (1978-2002). He serves as a director of the Downtown Association of San Francisco (1982-present) and the Market Street Association (1982-present) and as a trustee of Trinity College (1998-present); the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library (1997-present); the Herbert Hoover Foundation (2002-present) and the Advisor California Civil Liberties Public Education Fund (1997-present).

Rosalind M. Hewsenian
Director since 2007. Ms. Hewsenian served as a senior consultant at Wilshire Associates, Inc. for 21 years. She was an equity principal of the firm and a member of its Board of Directors where she was instrumental in guiding the growth and development of the Company in that role for 15 years. As a senior consultant and Managing Director, Ms. Hewsenian led teams of professionals who counseled and provided high quality strategic investment services to institutional investors, among them the $240 billion state pension fund, CalPERS, where she served as its lead investment consultant. She also chaired the International Equity Manager Research Committee at Wilshire that was responsible for evaluating and recommending money managers that offered investment products in the developed and emerging non-US equity markets. Her article, “International Investing,” was published by the CFA Institute in its study guide for Chartered Financial Analyst designation preparation.

Prior to joining Wilshire in 1985, Ms. Hewsenian was Vice President of Dimensional Fund Advisors, Inc., where she provided client service to the firm’s 125 public, corporate, Taft-Hartley and foundation clients. She began her career in financial planning for the Maxwell House Division of Kraft General Foods and later became the Manager, Pensions and Investments for PepsiCo, Inc., where she was responsible for the investment of the Company”s global benefit plan assets. Ms. Hewsenian earned a B.S. from the State University of New York and an M.B.A. in finance from Pace University.

J. Alan Reid, Jr.
Mr. Reid is president and a founder of ReFlow Management and Forward Management, the investment advisor for the Forward Funds and the Sierra Club Mutual Funds. With 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, Mr. Reid is known for his innovative approach to developing strategic alliances and pioneering technological solutions. He was formerly a principal and executive director of the private wealth management team at Morgan Stanley, and a senior vice president and director of business delivery at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Online. In this capacity, he designed and implemented the company’s mutual fund platform and aggregation strategy, in addition to designing and building the online firm's call centers, product delivery, human resources and mutual fund supermarket. Along with serving on many industry committees, Mr. Reid is a member of the board of FolioFn, as well as the vice president of the board of directors of Centerpoint, a non-profit health and human services organization. Mr. Reid holds a BS in Business Administration from Menlo College, where he was awarded The Faculty Award for leadership, character, and service.
